A few months ago I met a fabulous lady I now call my friend, her name is Susan Casey and she hosts a podcast called ROCK YOUR SHINE. She immediately became an inspiration to me as I read her story and book about grief and the loss of her brother Rocky. We connected through email and scheduled an interview on August 31, 2023. Joe’s birthday.
I’m sharing my story on transformation healing with the hope that someday it can help another parent who walks this uninvited journey in grief. It has taken me five years to speak at length about Joe and I know without a doubt, it is his spirit that continues to give me the ability to live and be my best for my daughters and family. FAITH, HOPE, and BELIEVE are three words imprinted in my soul.
